Sh\u00ebn Shtjefni ose sh\u00ebn Stefani (sipas Kish\u00ebs s\u00eb Lindjes), nj\u00eb em\u00ebr i madh n\u00eb historin\u00eb e Kish\u00ebs. Pas Krishtit, ai \u00ebsht\u00eb i pari q\u00eb u vra me gur\u00eb dhe d\u00ebshmoi k\u00ebshtu me gjakun e vet se Jezusi \u00ebsht\u00eb Zot dhe Shp\u00ebtimtar.<\/p>\n

P\u00ebr figur\u00ebn e Shtjefnit flet vet\u00eb Bibla n\u00eb Veprat e Apostujve, por edhe tradita e Kish\u00ebs e ka kujtuar gjithmon\u00eb me nderim t\u00eb madh. Ai u zgjodh si diakon p\u00ebr Kish\u00ebn n\u00eb nj\u00eb moment historik kur bashk\u00ebsia e par\u00eb e krishter\u00eb po zgjerohej, dhe q\u00eb t\u00eb mos lihej pas dore sh\u00ebrbesa e predikimit nga ana e Apostujve, u mendua t\u00eb zgjidheshin disa \u201cplot me Shpirt Shenjt e me urti\u201d (Veprat e Apostujve 6, 3) p\u00ebr t\u2019u kujdesur p\u00ebr t\u00eb varf\u00ebrit, nd\u00ebr t\u00eb cil\u00ebt ishte edhe Shtjefni.<\/p>\n

Ja si p\u00ebrshkruhet n\u00eb Veprat e Apostujve, n\u00eb Bib\u00ebl, shugurimi si diakon i Shtjefnit, arrestimi dhe vrasja me gur\u00eb prej pleqve dhe skrib\u00ebve t\u00eb at\u00ebhersh\u00ebm:<\/p>\n

At\u00ebher\u00eb t\u00eb Dymb\u00ebdhjet\u00ebt bashkuan n\u00eb nj\u00eb mbledhje t\u00eb p\u00ebrgjithshme nx\u00ebn\u00ebsit e u than\u00eb:
\n\u201cNuk \u00ebsht\u00eb e drejt\u00eb ta l\u00ebm\u00eb predikimin e fjal\u00ebs s\u00eb Hyjit p\u00ebr t\u00eb sh\u00ebrbyer n\u00eb tryez\u00eb. Gjeni, pra, o v\u00ebllez\u00ebr, nd\u00ebr ju shtat\u00eb vet\u00eb n\u00eb z\u00eb t\u00eb mir\u00eb, plot me Shpirt Shenjt e me urti, t\u00eb cil\u00ebt do t\u2019i caktojm\u00eb p\u00ebr k\u00ebt\u00eb detyr\u00eb, kurse ne do t\u2019i kushtohemi krejt\u00ebsisht lutjes dhe sh\u00ebrbes\u00ebs s\u00eb fjal\u00ebs.\u201d<\/p>\n

Propozimi i p\u00eblqeu krejt mbledhjes s\u00eb nx\u00ebn\u00ebsve. Ata at\u00ebher\u00eb zgjodh\u00ebn Shtjefnin, njeri plot fe e Shpirt Shenjt, pastaj Filipin, Prohorin, Nikanorin, Timonin, Parmenin dhe Nikoll\u00ebn, proselit prej Antiokis\u00eb. K\u00ebta i vun\u00eb para apostujve. Apostujt, pasi u lut\u00ebn, vun\u00eb duart mbi ta.
\nFjala e Hyjit vazhdonte t\u00eb shtrihej. Shtohej shum\u00eb numri i nx\u00ebn\u00ebsve n\u00eb Jerusalem dhe shum\u00eb prift\u00ebrinj e pranonin fen\u00eb.
\n[\u2026] Nd\u00ebrkaq Shtjefni, q\u00eb ishte plot hir dhe fuqi, b\u00ebnte mrekulli dhe shenja t\u00eb m\u00ebdha n\u00eb popull. Po asohere disa prej t\u00eb ashtuquajtur\u00ebs sinagog\u00eb e Libertin\u00ebve, Cirenian\u00ebve, t\u00eb Aleksandrin\u00ebve dhe t\u00eb atyre nga Cilicia dhe Azia u \u00e7uan p\u00ebr t\u2019u rragatur me Shtjefnin. Shtjefnin e mbysin me gur\u00eb<\/strong>
\nKur i d\u00ebgjuan k\u00ebto fjal\u00eb, griheshin n\u00eb zemrat e tyre dhe k\u00ebrc\u00ebllonin me dh\u00ebmb\u00eb kund\u00ebr tij. Por Shtjefni, plot me Shpirt Shenjt, i drejtoi syt\u00eb kah qielli, pa lavdin\u00eb e Hyjit e Jezusin duke q\u00ebndruar n\u00eb t\u00eb djatht\u00ebn e Hyjit dhe tha: \u201cJa, po e shoh qiellin e hapur dhe Birin e njeriut n\u00eb t\u00eb djatht\u00ebn e Hyjit.\u201d At\u00ebher\u00eb ata l\u00ebshuan nj\u00eb britm\u00eb t\u00eb madhe, i mbyll\u00ebn vesh\u00ebt dhe u v\u00ebrsul\u00ebn t\u00eb gjith\u00eb s\u00eb bashku kund\u00ebr tij. E qit\u00ebn jasht\u00eb qytetit dhe e vran\u00eb me gur\u00eb. D\u00ebshmitar\u00ebt i ul\u00ebn petkat te k\u00ebmb\u00ebt e nj\u00eb djaloshi q\u00eb quhej Saul.
\nDhe nd\u00ebrsa po e mbytnin me gur\u00eb, Shtjefni lutej e thoshte: \u201cO Jezus Zot, merre shpirtin tim!\u201d At\u00ebher\u00eb ra n\u00eb gjunj\u00eb dhe b\u00ebrtiti me z\u00eb t\u00eb madh: \u201cO Zot, mos ua merr k\u00ebt\u00eb p\u00ebr m\u00ebkat!\u201d Posa i tha k\u00ebto fjal\u00eb, nd\u00ebrroi jet\u00eb. Famullia e Blinishtit t\u00eb Lezh\u00ebs dhe sh\u00ebn Shtjefni<\/strong>
\nFamullia e Blinishtit n\u00eb Zadrim\u00eb i kushtohet pik\u00ebrisht k\u00ebtij Shenjti t\u00eb madh. Liturgjia e Kish\u00ebs n\u00eb mbar\u00eb bot\u00ebn e feston Martirin e Par\u00eb, m\u00eb 26 dhjetor \u00e7do vit, por me Famullin\u00eb e Blinishtit ndodh ndryshe. Pajtori sh\u00ebn Shtjefni kremtohet m\u00eb 3 gusht n\u00eb fshatrat Blinisht dhe Piraj t\u00eb Zadrim\u00ebs dhe n\u00eb fshatin Blinisht t\u00eb Mirdit\u00ebs. P\u00ebrse ky ndryshim?
