{"id":43399,"date":"2019-07-21T07:00:25","date_gmt":"2019-07-21T05:00:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fjala.info\/?p=43399"},"modified":"2019-07-21T08:00:48","modified_gmt":"2019-07-21T06:00:48","slug":"ramush-haradinaj-po-viktimizohet-perseri-deklarate-nga-aacl","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jehonashqiptare.al\/fjala\/ramush-haradinaj-po-viktimizohet-perseri-deklarate-nga-aacl\/","title":{"rendered":"Ramush Haradinaj po viktimizohet p\u00ebrs\u00ebri &#8211; deklarat\u00eb nga AACL"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Friend,<\/p>\n<p>As you know, Ramush Haradinaj resigned on July 19, 2019, as Kosova\u2019s Prime Minister because he has been summoned for questioning by the Kosovo Special Prosecutor\u2019s Office in The Hague.<\/p>\n<p>Both Roland Gjoni and I published articles in 2012 to question why the International War Crimes Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia in The Hague (ICTY) had reopened Ramush Haradinaj\u2019s case after he had been acquitted in 2008, why he had been forced to languish in prison for almost two years before the retrial began, and whether the Tribunal had compromised its legal principles in favor of the Prosecution. On November 29, 2012, Haradinaj was acquitted a second time of all charges of committing war crimes as a KLA Commander during the Kosova war.<\/p>\n<p>Roland Gjoni, an expert in international law, published his \u201cICTY: Favoring Prosecution over Justice?\u201d in Open Democracy on August 9, 2011, and I published my \u201cRamush Haradinaj: Justice Delayed Is Justice Denied\u201d in Prishtina Insight on May 10, 2012.
