Ne k\u00ebrkojm\u00eb heqjen e em\u00ebrtimit \u201cRruga e D\u00ebshmor\u00ebve t\u00eb 15 Korrikut<\/em>\u201d, heqjen e em\u00ebrtimit \u201cParku i Demokracis\u00eb 15 Korriku<\/em>\u201d dhe heqjen e pllak\u00ebs p\u00ebrkujtimore me emrat e t\u00eb ashtuquajturve \u201cd\u00ebshmor\u00eb t\u00eb 15 korrikut<\/em>\u201d, t\u00eb gjitha n\u00eb Parkun e Liqenit.<\/p>\n

Vendimi sekret p\u00ebr t\u00eb p\u00ebrjet\u00ebsuar nj\u00eb ngjarje t\u00eb brend\u00ebshme turke \u00ebsht\u00eb marr\u00eb n\u00eb shkelje t\u00eb ligjeve t\u00eb Shqip\u00ebris\u00eb dhe t\u00eb rregullave t\u00eb Bashkis\u00eb Tiran\u00eb. Vendimi \u00ebsht\u00eb marr\u00eb pa asnj\u00eb d\u00ebgjes\u00eb apo konsultim publik, duke u mohuar qytetar\u00ebve t\u00eb Tiran\u00ebs t\u00eb drejt\u00ebn p\u00ebr t\u2019u shprehur p\u00ebr t\u00eb.<\/p>\n

Ngjarja dhe viktimat, q\u00eb Bashkia Tiran\u00eb ka vendosur t\u00eb p\u00ebrjet\u00ebsoj\u00eb, nuk kan\u00eb asnj\u00eb lidhje me popullin dhe kombin shqiptar, dhe aq m\u00eb pak me qytetar\u00ebt e Tiran\u00ebs.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ngjarja q\u00eb Bashkia ka vendosur t\u00eb p\u00ebrjet\u00ebsoj\u00eb:
\n– nuk ka dometh\u00ebnie apo r\u00ebnd\u00ebsi historike, kulturore apo shpirt\u00ebrore p\u00ebr qytetar\u00ebt shqiptar\u00eb;
\n– nuk ka vler\u00eb p\u00ebrkujtimore apo simbolike p\u00ebr brezat e ardhsh\u00ebm;
\n– nuk ka r\u00ebnd\u00ebsi historike apo kulturore bot\u00ebrore dhe nuk ka dometh\u00ebnie p\u00ebr vlerat e liris\u00eb, demokracis\u00eb dhe p\u00ebrparimit njer\u00ebzor bot\u00ebror.
\n– nuk ka mb\u00ebshtetje apo pranim t\u00eb gjer\u00eb shoq\u00ebror mes qytetar\u00ebve t\u00eb Tiran\u00ebs.<\/p>\n

Ne dyshojm\u00eb se veprimet e Bashkis\u00eb Tiran\u00eb jan\u00eb sh\u00ebrbim personal ndaj presidentit turk Rexhep Tajip Erdogan<\/em>, motivuar nga interesa t\u00eb ngushta vetjake t\u00eb Kryeministrit Edi Rama dhe Kryebashkiakut Erion Veliaj. Si t\u00eb tilla, ato jan\u00eb shkelje e sovranitetit t\u00eb vendit dhe dhunim i krenaris\u00eb son\u00eb komb\u00ebtare.<\/p>\n

N\u00ebnshtrimi i qeveritar\u00ebve tan\u00eb ndaj nj\u00eb autokrati t\u00eb njohur p\u00ebr persekutimin e kund\u00ebrshtar\u00ebve politike, p\u00ebr burgosjen e gazetar\u00ebve dhe shtypjen e t\u00eb drejtave t\u00eb njeriut \u00ebsht\u00eb, gjithashtu, shkelje e vlerave demokratike per\u00ebndimore, t\u00eb cilat aspiron shoq\u00ebria shqiptare.<\/p>\n

We petition Tirana Municipality Council to remove the name \u2018Martyrs of 15 July\u2019 and \u201815 July Democracy Park\u2019 from its location at Tirana\u2019s Lake Par. We also request the removal of the removal of the Memorial Plaque with the names of the so called \u201cmartyrs of 15 July\u201d.<\/p>\n

The secret decision to memorialize a Turkish event such as this has been taken in violation of the law and city regulations. It was taken denying Tirana resident their legal right to be heard and participate in the decision-making process.<\/p>\n

The event and victims that Tirana Municipality has decided to immortalize has no relevance and significance to the Albanian people, least of all, residents of Tirana.<\/p>\n

The event the City has decided to immortalize:<\/p>\n

Has no historical, cultural or spiritual significance or relevance to Albanian people;
\nBears no symbolic or historical importance for future generations;
\nHas no significance to world history or culture and has no significance to the values of liberty, democracy and human endeavor for progress;
\nHas no broad acceptance or support among Tirana resident or Albanian citizens.<\/p>\n

We believe this decision was made to render personal service to the Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan, motivated by personal interests of Prime Minister Edi Rama and Mayor Erion Veliaj. As such they undermine our sovereignty and offend our national pride.<\/p>\n

Subservience to an autocrat infamous for prosecuting political opponents, jailing journalists and academics, and violating of human rights is also an affront to the democratic and Western aspirations of the Albanian people.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
