Vyshkur jane gjithe lulet e enderimit
\nDhe kopshti i rinise eshte thare,
\nBota e vjeter ndjeu lodhjen e dimrit.
\nNe udhekryq rendon guri i fatit te vrare.
\nTe kater rruget mbyllur jane nga satanai
\nO Zot! Te pakten njeren dere,
\nNa i hap qe te ndihen renkimet e klithmat
\nE te shohin rrenjet e dala ne bregun e dhimbjes.
\nMbi kokat vitet na i shtuan thinjat,
\nMbi gezimin tone helmi rendon (Oh sa shume!)
\nFati yne qe rreshqet si treni mbi shinat
\nNuk u ndal tere jeten n’asnje stacion.
\nLe te ndalej (pa \u00e7ka!) edhe ne bregun e dhimbjes,
\nSa te mbulonim me dhe rrenjet e fatit tone
\nE ne oret e nates kur shpirti perhumbur dridhet
\nT’i lagim me gjakun e zemres dhe me lote!
\nNe meditim, n\u00eb mjegull, ne muzg i lame vitet
\nPerendimin dhe agun pa i ndjere, pa i pare,
\nShpirti i cmendur rrokullisej, perplasej e vertitej,
\nNe prag te udhekryqit, te gur’i fatit te vrare!
\nRreth nesh tisi, tmerri, vargonj qe tjetersonin,
\nMbi kokat tona pezull vdekja… Ne duar kish kosor
\nFati yne! Gjakprishur, i dehur, dot s’te ndalonin.
\nPo ecen ashtu… Pa u ndalur n’asnje stacion!<\/p>\n
