M\u00eb 1 maj 1886, me rastin e 19 vjetorit t\u00eb hyrjes n\u00eb fuqi t\u00eb ligjit t\u00eb Illinois n\u00eb tet\u00eb or\u00eb pune, u vendos nga Federata e Tregtis\u00eb s\u00eb Organizuar dhe Sindikatave t\u00eb Pun\u00ebs, si afati i zgjatjes s\u00eb k\u00ebtij ligji n\u00eb t\u00eb gjith\u00eb territorin Amerikan, n\u00ebn d\u00ebnimin e abstenimit nga puna, me nj\u00eb grev\u00eb t\u00eb p\u00ebrgjithshme t\u00eb pacaktuar.<\/p>\n

N\u00eb at\u00eb dit\u00eb, Chicago gjithashtu mori pjes\u00eb n\u00eb grev\u00ebn e p\u00ebrgjithshme, ve\u00e7an\u00ebrisht fabrik\u00ebn e korrjes McCormick. N\u00eb at\u00eb pik\u00eb policia gjuajti ndaj demonstruesve. Askush nuk e ka njohur ende numrin e viktimave ose kush e hodhi bomb\u00ebn. Ishte sulmi i par\u00eb me dinamit n\u00eb historin\u00eb e Shteteve t\u00eb Bashkuara.<\/p>\n

M\u00eb 20 gusht 1887 u dha aktgjykimi gjyq\u00ebsor: August Spies, Michael Schwab, Samuel Fielden, Albert R.
