Ibrahim Rugova u rizgjodh me vota d\u00ebrmuese kryetar i Kosov\u00ebs n\u00eb zgjedhjet e mbajtura n\u00ebn okupimin serb, n\u00eb mars t\u00eb vitit 1998. Vdiq me 21 janar t\u00eb viti 2006, u varros me nderime dhe pjes\u00ebmarrje t\u00eb larta shtet\u00ebrore dhe ushtarake, komb\u00ebtare dhe nd\u00ebrkomb\u00ebtare.<\/p>\n<p>Sivjet po e kujtoj dit\u00eblindjen e k\u00ebtij burri t\u00eb madh t\u00eb Kombit, jo me fjal\u00ebt e mia, por me fjal\u00ebt e tija: Pasi jemi ende n\u00eb frym\u00ebn e fest\u00ebs s\u00eb Pavar\u00ebsis\u00eb s\u00eb Shqip\u00ebris\u00eb, me k\u00ebnaq\u00ebsi po shp\u00ebrndaj nj\u00eb artikull t\u00eb Ibrahim Rugov\u00ebs, shkruar me rastin e 28 Nentorit, t\u00eb vitit 1968, n\u00eb nj\u00eb prej gazetave t\u00eb Prishtin\u00ebs s\u00eb asaj kohe. Titulli i shkrimit \u00ebsht\u00eb, \u201cPavar\u00ebsia Komb\u00ebtare -28 N\u00ebndor 1912- 28 N\u00ebndor 1968.<\/p>\n<p>P\u00ebr ata q\u00eb mund t\u00eb ken\u00eb harruar, e sidomos p\u00ebr ata fatzez\u00eb, shum\u00eb prej t\u00eb cil\u00ebve \u2013 at\u00ebher\u00eb e sot &#8212; t\u00eb influencuar nga idet\u00eb sllavo-komuniste, ende flasin keq dhe gjithnj\u00eb nuk duan t\u00eb njohin meritat e k\u00ebtij udh\u00ebheq\u00ebsi unik t\u00eb Kombit shqiptar \u2013 duhet kujtuar se viti 1968 \u2013 kur \u00ebsht\u00eb shkruar artikulli &#8212; ishte nj\u00eb periudh\u00eb e rend\u00eb n\u00eb historin\u00eb e Kosov\u00ebs, por edhe e lavdishme \u2013 ndoshta nd\u00ebr datat m\u00eb t\u00eb spikatura t\u00eb historis\u00eb komb\u00ebtare t\u00eb shqiptar\u00ebve.<\/p>\n<p>Ishte viti i demonstratave t\u00eb shqiptar\u00ebve t\u00eb Kosov\u00ebs p\u00ebr t\u00eb drejtat e tyre, demonstrata q\u00eb fillimisht shp\u00ebrtheu n\u00eb Prizren me 6 Tetor, 1968, e q\u00eb m\u00eb von\u00eb u p\u00ebrhapen an\u00eb e mban\u00eb duke k\u00ebrkuar t\u00eb drejt\u00ebn e p\u00ebrdorimit, lirisht, t\u00eb flamurit komb\u00ebtar dhe hapjen e Universitetit t\u00eb Prishtin\u00ebs. Demonstratat e vitit 1968 ishin v\u00ebrtet\u00eb nj\u00eb kryengritje popullore e shqiptar\u00ebve q\u00eb shkundi nga themelet regjimin komunist jugosllav t\u00eb asaj kohe, megjithse demonstratat u shtyp\u00ebn brutalisht nga regjimi komunist jugosllav. Por demonstratat pat\u00ebn edhe suksesin e tyre, pasi \u00e7uan n\u00eb themelimin e universitetit t\u00eb Prishtin\u00ebs dhe n\u00eb miratimin e ligjeve t\u00eb reja t\u00eb favorshme p\u00ebr shqiptar\u00ebt, p\u00ebrfshir Ligjin Kushtetues p\u00ebr Krahin\u00ebn Autonome t\u00eb Kosov\u00ebs.<\/p>\n<p>Ishte pra, n\u00eb k\u00ebt\u00eb periudh\u00eb t\u00eb tensionuar politike dhe mjaft t\u00eb rrezikshme p\u00ebr intelektual\u00ebt e Kosov\u00ebs, t\u00eb asaj kohe, si\u00e7 ishte Dr. Ibrahim Rugova, kur Presidenti i ardh\u00ebsh\u00ebm i Republik\u00ebs s\u00eb Kosov\u00ebs shkruante artikullin \u201cP\u00ebr Pavar\u00ebsin\u00eb Komb\u00ebtare\u201d q\u00eb po ju sjellim m\u00eb posht\u00eb n\u00eb faksimil, t\u00eb botuar n\u00eb N\u00ebndor, 1968. M\u00eb then\u00eb t\u00eb drejt\u00ebn, mua nuk m\u00eb habiti fare ky shkrim \u2013 pasi bazuar n\u00eb aq sa e kam njohur Dr. Rugov\u00ebn, ai ishte nj\u00eb atdhetar i pa l\u00ebkundur n\u00eb mendimet e tija dhe n\u00eb besimin e tij n\u00eb vlerat komb\u00ebtare, sidomos n\u00eb pavar\u00ebsin\u00eb dhe bashkimin komb\u00ebtar \u2013 si\u00e7 kishte titulluar edhe shkrimin \u2013\u00e7rej vitit 1968, pra.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cViti 1912. Zgjedha otomane zen\u00eb t\u00eb hiqet. Ket\u00eb e ben\u00eb ata q\u00eb me shekuj ndien pesh\u00ebn e saj, pesh\u00ebn e saj t\u00eb ndyet \u00e7kombtarizuese, v\u00ebllavras\u00ebse due coptuese.
