Ngjarjeve dhe personave t\u00eb dalluar t\u00eb k\u00ebsaj race q\u00eb kan\u00eb b\u00ebr\u00eb k\u00ebt\u00eb histori, duke i kujtuar ata dhe veprat e tyre historike \u2013 q\u00eb b\u00ebn\u00eb historin\u00eb e afrikano-amerikan\u00ebve, me t\u00eb gjitha t\u00eb mirat e t\u00eb k\u00ebqiat e saja \u2013 me vuajtjet dhe diskriminimet ndaj tyre, por edhe me p\u00ebrparimet m\u00eb von\u00eb n\u00eb fush\u00ebn e t\u00eb drejtave civile t\u00eb qytetar\u00ebve me ngjyr\u00eb dhe sukseset e tyre n\u00eb fusha t\u00eb ndryshme t\u00eb jet\u00ebs, kultur\u00ebs dhe historis\u00eb amerikane.<\/p>\n<p>Historia e Afrikano-Amerikan\u00ebve konsiderohet tani si histori e pandar\u00eb e historis\u00eb s\u00eb Amerik\u00ebs, fal\u00eb p\u00ebrpjekjeve t\u00eb shum\u00eb prej afrikano-amerikan\u00ebve gjat\u00eb dekadave, p\u00ebr drejt\u00ebsi, barazi raciale dhe t\u00eb drejta civile. Me k\u00ebt\u00eb rast po sh\u00ebnoj k\u00ebt\u00eb muaj &#8212; kushtuar historis\u00eb s\u00eb Afrikano-Amerikan\u00ebve me disa th\u00ebnje p\u00ebr drejt\u00ebsin\u00eb si domosdoshm\u00ebri p\u00ebr t\u00eb siguruar t\u00eb drejtat e barabarta p\u00ebr t\u00eb gjith\u00eb dhe pa dallim &#8212; nga Martin Luther Kingu, ish-udh\u00ebheq\u00ebsi i l\u00ebvizjes p\u00ebr t\u00eb drejtat civile t\u00eb Afrikano-Amerikan\u00ebve shekullin e kaluar, nj\u00eb l\u00ebvizje q\u00eb m\u00eb n\u00eb fund \u00e7oi n\u00eb ndryshime dramatike legjislative n\u00eb jet\u00ebn publike dhe politike p\u00ebr Afrikano-Amerikan\u00ebt.<\/p>\n<p>Martin Luther King \u2013 nga q\u00ebndrimi i nj\u00eb predikuesi protestan me nj\u00eb vizion dashurie domosdoshm\u00ebrie morale p\u00ebr shoq\u00ebrin\u00eb amerikane &#8212; b\u00ebnte thirrje p\u00ebr drejt\u00ebsi t\u00eb v\u00ebrtet\u00eb p\u00ebr t\u00eb gjitha racat pa dallim, p\u00ebr reforma themelore n\u00eb sistemin dhe ligjet mbi drejt\u00ebsin\u00eb dhe p\u00ebr barazi para ligjit p\u00ebr t\u00eb gjith\u00eb, duke i b\u00ebr\u00eb apel nd\u00ebrgjegjes morale t\u00eb shumic\u00ebs s\u00eb amerikan\u00ebve t\u00eb rac\u00ebs s\u00eb bardh\u00eb, p\u00ebr reflektim.<\/p>\n<p>Martin Luther King ishte i bindur se reformat serioze n\u00eb drejt\u00ebsi dhe ndryshimi i ligjeve p\u00ebr t\u00eb cilat ai b\u00ebnte thirrje, nuk mund t\u00eb b\u00ebheshin n\u00eb nj\u00eb vakum moral pa u p\u00ebrballur shumica e bardh\u00eb me historin\u00eb e kaluar dhe me trajtimin e tmersh\u00ebm q\u00eb \u00e7oi n\u00eb shkeljen e t\u00eb drejtave baz\u00eb t\u00eb Afrikano-Amerikan\u00ebve, p\u00ebrfshir skllav\u00ebrin\u00eb \u2013 q\u00eb mbetet ende nj\u00eb plag\u00eb e r\u00ebnd\u00eb kjo, trash\u00ebgimia e t\u00eb cil\u00ebt ka l\u00ebn\u00eb gjurm\u00eb q\u00eb diktohen edhe sot n\u00eb historin\u00eb moderne amerikane.
