Ky koncept i Konic\u00ebs ishte n\u00eb p\u00ebrputhje me ideologjit\u00eb liberale t\u00eb shekullit XIX, t\u00eb cilat e merrnin krijimin e kombeve si nj\u00eb proces evoluimi q\u00eb shkonte nga nj\u00ebsit\u00eb m\u00eb t\u00eb vogla drejt nj\u00ebsive m\u00eb t\u00eb m\u00ebdha, nga familja, fisi dhe krahina, drejt kombit. Faik Konica duhet par\u00eb si nj\u00eb intelektual nacionalist dhe modernizues. Ai duhet par\u00eb n\u00eb kuadrin e p\u00ebrkufizimit, q\u00eb Smith i ka b\u00ebr\u00eb ideologjis\u00eb nacionaliste p\u00ebr t\u00eb arritur dhe mbajtur autonomin\u00eb, bashkimin dhe identitetin n\u00eb em\u00ebr t\u00eb nj\u00eb popullsie, disa an\u00ebtar\u00eb t\u00eb s\u00eb cil\u00ebs e vler\u00ebsojn\u00eb at\u00eb si nj\u00eb komb potencial.<\/p>\n<p>Bot\u00ebkuptimi i Konic\u00ebs duhet v\u00ebn\u00eb n\u00eb kontekstin e koh\u00ebs. Ai jetoi pothuajse p\u00ebr t\u00ebr\u00eb jet\u00ebn n\u00eb Evrop\u00ebn Per\u00ebndimore dhe SHBA dhe ishte i ndikuar nga rrymat kulturore dhe ideologjike t\u00eb shekullit XIX dhe XX. N\u00eb Evrop\u00eb n\u00eb at\u00eb periudh\u00eb mor\u00ebn hov t\u00eb madh studimet mbi gjuh\u00ebt e popujve, dhe si\u00e7 thot\u00eb <em>Benedict Anderson<\/em> ishte nj\u00eb koh\u00eb e art\u00eb p\u00ebr leksikograf\u00ebt, gramatikan\u00ebt dhe filolog\u00ebt. Ishte po ashtu koha kur u rrit interesi n\u00eb lidhje me origjin\u00ebn e popujve, ve\u00e7an\u00ebsit\u00eb e tyre kulturore dhe karaktaret e tyre historike. Qysh prej shekullit XVIII n\u00eb mendimin evropian karakteri komb\u00ebtar dhe gjenia komb\u00ebtare ishin nocione q\u00eb p\u00ebrdoreshin p\u00ebr t\u00eb shpjeguar historin\u00eb e popujve. Zhvillimi i arsimit humanist dhe i shkencave frym\u00ebzoi besimin n\u00eb mund\u00ebsin\u00eb e progresit dhe t\u00eb evolucionit t\u00eb popujve.<\/p>\n<p>Sipas <em>Anthony D.
