Me 1894 mbaron shkollen e mesme ne Manastir dhe me 1898 doktorohet ne degen e shkencave politike dhe ekonomike te Universitetit te Stambollit. Po kete vit hyn ne kariere nen perandorine Osmane i emruar si nenprefekt ne Shqiperi e ne vende perreth si Maqedoni etj. Me 1911 emnohet Beg i Jeruzalemit e Guvernator i Pergjitheshem i Palestines. Ne janar te vitit 1912 dekretohet ne shkallen me superiore si nen &#8211; komisar i Nalte turk ne Egjipt.<\/p>\n<p>Menjihere pas shpalljes se Pavarsise po me 1912, Mehdiu la administraten turke dhe kthehet ne Shqiperi per ti dhane pervojen e vet shtetit te ri shqiptar duke u emru si perfaqesues i Shqiperise prane Komisionit Nderkombtar te Kontrollit per Shqiperine. Me 1919 emrohet minister i brendeshem, delegat i Shqiperise ne Konferencen e Paqes dhe minister i puneve te Jashteme. Me 1921 zgjidhet deputet dhe nga 1923 asht Komisar i Nalte per caktimin e kufijve. Me 1935 Mehdi bej Frasheri zgjidhet kryeminister duke i lane vendin me vone 1944 si Kryetar i Keshillit te Regjences. Po ate vit nepermes kufirit verior me Malin e Zi ik ne mergim ne Rome.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"Ndoc Selimi\" src=\"http:\/\/fjala.info\/2016\/ndoc_selimi1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" border=\"0\" \/><em>Ndoc Selimi &#8211; autori i shkrimit<\/em><\/p>\n<p>( Marre nga &#8220;Shejzat&#8221;, 1973 E.Koliqi, nr 5 &#8211; 8 fq 1667 &#8221; Mehdi Frasheri si shkrimtar&#8221; )<br \/>\nKy personalitet njifet pak ne Shqiperi si shkrimtar, publi\u00e7ist, perkthyes, per arsye te shpalljes se tij si tradhetar e si kuisling nga regjimi i Hoxhes. Mehdi Frasheri ishte nje studiues i madh ne disa gjuhe si dhe sipas te dhenava qe jep i nipi tij, kishte nje biblioteke te stermadhe ne Tirane ( shtepia e tij u be ambasada sovjetike me vone ) qe u konfiskuan dhe nje pjese u zhduken dhe nje pjese kalojne ne biblioteken e shtetit.<\/p>\n<p>Le te kujtojme disa nga punet krijuese te tij. Jane dy vepra ne gjuhe turke dhe me vone vazhdojne ne gjuhen shqipe studimet &#8220;Polemike mbi kulturen greke ne Shqiperi&#8221;, &#8220;Tirana, kryeqyteti i Shqiperise&#8221;, &#8220;Lidhja e Prizrenit&#8221; &#8211; ku i behet nje analize e hollesishme situatave konkrete dhe rethanave internacionale ku u zhvillua kjo lidhje. Perkthen ne shqip vepren e Pashko Vases &#8221; E verteta mbi Shqiperine e shqiptaret&#8221; shoqeruar me nje koment te gjate . &#8220;Tradhetia (tragjedi)&#8221;, &#8220;Probleme shqiptare&#8221;, shkruan Vellimin e pare te historise se Shqiperise si dhe nje roman me permasa te medha e shume interesant te qujtur &#8220;Novruzi&#8221;. Ne gjuhe franke &#8220;L&#8217;Epire du Nord&#8221;. Bashkepunon dendeshem me gazetat e kohes si &#8220;Dajti&#8221;, Vullneti i Popullit&#8221;,&#8221; Besa&#8221;, &#8220;Iliria&#8221;, &#8220;Minevra&#8221; etj. Mbetet edhe sot si nje stad i larte i patriotizmit tij thirrja ne radjo qe i drejton popullit ne diten e 7 prillit 39 per rrembimin e armeve kunder pushtuesve fashist.<\/p>\n<p>Per punen e botimet e bera ne Itali hyn ne enciklopedine &#8220;Treccani &#8211; La cultura italiane) &#8220;Per le numerose pubblicazioni in diverse discipline ; storia, sociologia, politica, diritto, economia, finanza e letteratura&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Ne rolin e komisarit te larte per caktimin e kufijve, Mehdi Frasheri ka nje pike minuese per moskembenguljen e tij ne dorzimin e Shen Naumit sebeve, qe deri tani eshte quajtur veper e Zogut, por ne baze te deklerates qe ban me vone Mehdiu, pohon se kjo ishte nje manover vetem e tij ne nderrim teritori, ose te humbeshin te dy. Nga ana tjeter ka meriten ne mbrojtjen e Vermoshit, mbasi serbet kembengulnin per kalimin ne juridiksionin jugosllav, perderisa lumi i Vermoshit derdhej ne Danub. Per aq shume qe dha per shtetin e ri shqiptar ne organizimin dhe kalimin e mijera problemeve qe nxirrte koha, te cilat Mehdi Frasheri i dha nje shtyse te madhe ka meritat e padiskutueshme.<\/p>\n<p>Mitat bej Frasheri ishte nje nder ata burra qe edhe i ndodhur si Kryetar i Keshillit Regjences, u ka bere nje mbrojtje te madhe komunisteve dhe partizaneve duke krijuar oportunitet me trupat gjermane me ndjenjen e larte humane per mos demtimin e burrave dhe grave te Shqiperise. Eshte teper gabim, mendoj, qe gjerat te shikohen vetem zi dhe te njeanshme. Ai nuk i beri asnje dam Shqiperise as shqiptareve, perkundra dha aq shume per perparimin e atdheut te vet, ndaj mund te quhet nje nder burrat me emer te Shqiperise.
